System Information
Surface design
Wi.tal implants have an acid etched surface which is conducive to rapid osseointegration. The microstructured surface extends as far as the platform of the implant.
Implant diameter and length
The wi.tal system is available in three implant diameters: 3.5 mm, 4.3 mm and 5.0 mm and in the lengths 9 mm, 11 mm, 13 mm and 15 mm.
Indications
Wi.tal implants can be inserted immediately or at a subsequent stage. Implant diameter and length should be selected according to the bone situation. The implant can be inserted transgingivally in a single-phase or two phase procedure. Depending on the indication and at the practitioner’s discretion, the implant can be loaded immediately.
Surgical drills
The wi.tal system is supplied exclusively with suitable single patient drills. The drills are supplied in gamma sterilised packages. This eliminates extensive preparation and documentation. These drills offer high-performance in terms of cutting power.
Implant drivers
All implant drivers have an ISO shaft and can be therefore be used manually or with a hand piece. The manual torque wrench adapter enables components to be inserted and tightened to a predefined torque.
Healing caps
Healing caps are supplied in two geometries (cylindrical and wide), for use in single phase or two-phase procedures, depending on the indications.
Impression copings
Two impression copings are available (open and closed tray). In the event of axial divergences or for functional impressions, the open tray method is recommended.
The internal geometry of the wi.tal implants
All wi.tal implants have the same internal geometry. This makes platform switching possible. A variety of prosthodontic components are available to cover all indications.
- Temporary abutment - PEEK
- Standard abutment, straight, 15° angled with circular shoulder in two lengths (1.5 mm, 3 mm)
- Universal abutment, straight, for customized circular shoulder or for telescopic crowns
- Gold/plastic abutment for customized restorations in precious metal alloy
- Ceramic abutment (ZrO2) for even better aesthetics
- Titanium base for CAD/CAM for customized ceramic restorations
- Bar and ball abutments in three lengths
